I swear Stephen a Smith can’t go 10 minutes without talking about diversity
the jets will never be able to get over completely and totally blowing their attempt to “tank for trevor” . they will blame the jags for somehow keeping them from all that is happening to the jags and will happen in the future. urban is the better coach by far and will prove it in the future because the core team in jax is better then the core team in new york, we just had the worst coach and coaching staff and the worst GM. by the jets complete stupidity in winning 2 games they should not have and allowing the jags the slide past them was never the fault of the jags. we were just the beneficiary of the jets mistakes. so, jets just get used to the fact you will what you always have and will continue to be, the worst football organization ever. when the jags are in the playoffs next year, the jets again will be trying to figure who to select with the second pick in the 2022 draft. we got urban, trevor and a beyond full stadium, what have the jets got??
Stephen A must be smoking Weeee-dah! Saleh has coached in the NFL 16 years with success, Urban Meyer’s college resume means nothing in the NFL! ( Did he forget he had a losing resume in Miami??) Coaching college and coaching in the pros is not the same, you ain’t coaching kids!

All he brings is a tough guy look and an emotional cheerleader. The Jets don’t know who to pick winners, and they hired him because he always LOOKED excited after every play, therefore he LOOKED as if he knew what he was doing. LOL. Saleh’s ‘great coaching’ is summed up as follows: Bosa comes in – they go to the Super Bowl. Bosa goes out, they don’t make the playoffs! Point blank.
Stephen A., you’ve got such a big mouth, at least pronounce the man’s name correctly! I agree, there is no questioning Urban Meyer’s talent and standing as a coach, but as Max said, he has NO experience in the NFL. How many hotshot college coaches have flamed out in the NFL? Quite a few. And as a college coach you are the god/king of your program and all the malleable young men will sit at your feet in awe, if you have the power & the rep. The NFL is filled with men who will not take your BS if they don’t believe in you or respect you; it’s a whole different deal in the NFL. As someone who has watched Saleh closely, he is not just a rah rah emotional guy, he is a very intelligent, thoughtful and well spoken man, whose players will follow him anywhere! Both hires were excellent, only time will be the final judge!
