Fans of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are in for a treat this February.
On Saturday, the beloved wrestler-turned-actor offered his Twitter and Instagram followers a sneak peek at Young Rock, NBCs upcoming sitcom based on Johnsons life. Debuting a wonderful teaser trailer for the series, produced and executive produced by Fresh Off the Boats Nahnatchka Khan, Johnson composed, “I wish my daddy was around to see. Maaaaan he wouldve been happy.”
Young Rock got a straight-to-series order for 11 episodes from NBC, and will depict Johnsons life from when he was a kid and teenager maturing in the world of pro wrestling to his college football days and Hollywood start. Johnson is set to appear in every episode, with younger versions of himself played by Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, and Uli Latukefu..

Young Rock premieres Feb. 16 on NBC; episodes streaming next day on Peacock.
