Id also add the Mavs as a slept on winner. They added tougher players who can defend, but are also very solid shooters from three. And they drafted two young guys who can give you immediate defense in josh green and immediate offense in tyrell terry. These small additions is perfect for someone like luka

Obviously Perk doesn’t understand Jackie’s point. Losing GH WITHOUT getting somebody in return would’ve spelled the difference between having or not having another all-star or borderline all-star together with Tatum, Brown and “Kember”. Wouldn’t somebody like Adams, Turner or even a Kevin Love in exchange for Hayward be better than signing Tristan Thompson?

Hayward wasn’t a big loss but I do agree to a certain extent because if u knew u wasn’t gonna pay him that money trade him, some basement nba team would’ve probably made a trade out of desperation something is better than nothing but I feel Celtics lost by not signing another wing to kind of fill his role to a degree, a guy like jerami grant would’ve been perfect, he could spot up and shoot the 3 he is a slasher he could defend multiple positions at a high level, and he is 26 he got about 20mil per where he is at that is still 14 mil less than what u were paying gordon and he could’ve started brown Tatum and grant would be one of the best defensive trios in the league and would shut down the perimeter
