If there’s no fall college football, there will be know spring football think about it, you can’t fit both in, the championship game will have to be played in august, they would keep 2021 fall season over spring. Ron n.
The decision was driven by politics, not health concerns. Academia, the liberal media, and the Democrats are joined at the hip. Playing fall football would illustrate the vacuity of the Democrats shut down narrative and demonstrate that the virus is not a major issue for healthy young adults. It isn’t a coincidence that most of these Big Ten schools are mostly in Democratic states, whereas the Big-12, SEC, and ACC schools are mostly in Red states and still plan to play. After Nov. 3, this issue will magically disappear. But there won’t be football in the spring for two reasons: you can’t ask kids to play two seasons of football in one year (it’s too hard on the body) and the better athletes won’t forego the NFL combine to play football. It’s over for Big Ten football for 2020. But don’t blame the players. This decision is solely on the liberal Big Ten administrators and the political clout the Democrats wield over them and their universities.
The medical experts from the AAC, ACC, Big 12, C-USA, SBC, BYU, Liberty and New Mexico State are bunch of quacks. You had a lot of players from the teams from these schools came down with the covid-19 which they could have Myocardial infarction. It means these players who got the virus could wind up still getting a heartattack. It is why the other conferences need to postpone the fall season to the spring so that these kids get medical help so that they don’t suffer and die on the field on live tv.
Fields gone
The Big 10 is such a joke
If the other conferences pull this off without interruption it will set the Big Ten back for years.
who cares about these bs distraction sports. People need to pay attention to the scumbags in washington selling us all out. Who cares about a bunch of kids throwing around a stupid ball. Childish bs.
To solve the all the problems, let Alabama and Clemson play for a National Championship. Go Tigers / Go Tide!
Big Ten is doing the smart thing…too many unknowns…all it takes is a single player in the SEC etc to get myocarditis or a heart condition from COVID and the season to fall apart….worse some of these coaches could get it…what happens if Bama’s Saban gets it…what happens if fans get it…the script can change awful quickly next year…the SEC only cared about football this player got sick and his future is ruined….the BIG 10 cared about players parents send your kids here.
I think we need to let every day Americans work out there paths and adjustments.
No, it won’t be perfect, but it trusts the “free market” mentality that adapts, improvises, overcoemes.
