Imo we don’t need Thiago, we’re pretty well sorted in the midfield with the likes of keita and Takumi coming in, we need cover for our front 3 and LB
I don’t know about Thiago, how would he benefit Liverpool’s playstyle? He is not as athletic or as explosive or as versatile as the likes of Wijnaldum or Keita. He also does not offer the physicality or defence stability as Henderson and Fabinho. Sure, he has his skills, but do Liverpool really need a strategic passer in midfield? I am not convinced, sure, he offers something new, but I’m not seeing him breaking through. On top of it you get his injury proneness.
Such deluded people
Naby Keita says hi!
He had surgery on his groin this year. FSG tend to stay away from injury prone players. This one will only happen if the fee is a bargain, expect him to re-sign with Bayern.
Aston Villa- don’t think u groomed Origi. Also we see him as the main just like Kodjia
It would be extremely naive in thinking that other teams won’t strengthen and put up much more competition next season. Guarantee Liverpool will not dominate again the way they did this season.
Overrated! Thiago isn’t Xavi or Iniesta. He’s definitely more like Isco. A great 12th, 13th player but I don’t see him bumping either Keita, Henderson, or Fabinho from that starting XI. Plus, Thiago can’t stay healthy. Great cup option, relief for that Christmas – New Years grueling schedule, but not a starting XI. Not for the EPL.
He will be good but he’s 29 and probably has 3 years at the top.
Fabinho-Thiago-Hendo
Subs: Keita, Gini, Milner, Ox
