Donald didn’t even make the playoffs. And had 1 sack in the playoffs in their SuperBowl run. He was a product of teams needing to block Su. Mahomes is by far the best player.

Mahomes only threw for 26 TDs. If you’re gonna talk stats, that’s kind of a big deal. If he doesn’t miss those two games, the voting most likely comes out differently because he most likely sprinkles a few more TDs on that. He got hurt, and that’s that. I didn’t have an issue with him at 4 nor was I surprised by it. You have to remember, this is a yearly vote so it’s based on the season that just passed. Yeah, Mahomes also won a ring, but he didn’t look good until the end of that game as well, so even if this vote was after the SB, he might’ve still not been #1.
